Paramount Mortgage President

John is responsible for the daily mortgage banking company operations. He takes a "hands-on" approach and is very involved with the loan process, staff and clients. The open-door policy he subscribes to allows for a forum of idea exchange and problem solving.

John has been in the mortgage banking industry since 1976, serving as Vice President at Gershman Mortgage before transitioning to an ownership position at Paramount in 1989. A year later, David Griege also made the transition from Gershman to Paramount and joined John as co-owner and Executive Vice President.

John led Paramount out of a challenging time and built it up to the current position as one of the top independent mortgage banking companies in St. Louis. Paramount’s focus has always been on home purchases, typically lending money for 100 new homeowners each month.
